RFK Stadium, constructed in 1961, recently finished a three-year temporary home for Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals and will continue to serve as home to Major League Soccer’s D.C. United. RFK Stadium seats up to 48,000 for soccer and approximately 42,000 for baseball. The stadium has a long and storied history as a major concert venue and has hosted numerous other important and successful special events. DC United expects to conduct approximately 20 to 25 games per season at RFK Stadium. Although limited, RFK Stadium does contain certain entertainment spaces, including the Miller Lite Beer Pen, the Diamond Club space, and several others.
